Learn How to Make Smart Products Based on Chemical and Technological Knowledge
Chemistry has the possibility to make big changes to our lives. A newly invented chemical synthesized and produced which never existed is an example. However, in order to realize this, the study of chemistry and a broad knowledge of general science is required to make these changes happen. The department offers a wide variety of subjects other than chemistry such as physics and biology to help future engineers prepare for working in the chemical industry. It also offers cutting-edge research through which students can learn practical skills and knowledge.
Chemical materials are made of over 100 elements, but the combinations of elements are infinite. The goal of this study is to design and create new materials that contribute to human prosperity and the preservation and improvement of the environment as well as to have it applied in practical devices.
The goal of this study is to discover new useful materials based on the fundamental knowledge of chemical and mechanical characteristics of materials. By utilizing state-of-the-art material processing techniques and analytical technology, engineers can realize technological innovations through material science in order to create a sustainable society of the future.
Biotechnology is widely applied in healthcare, food production and the environment. It is one of the most sought after technologies today, and it will continue to be sought after. Students learn marvelous capabilities of living things at a molecular level so as to apply them for new techniques that are useful to the real world and that will open a new avenue for the future.
